Role Summary:
As a Door-to-Door Canvasser with Lonestar Solar Services, you will be an integral part of our outreach team, engaging directly with homeowners within your assigned area. Your core responsibility will be to spark interest in solar energy, generate leads, schedule appointments for our sales team, and help transform those leads into satisfied customers. This position is ideal for those who excel in face-to-face interactions, are results-driven, and want to contribute to the expansion of renewable energy in Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Homeowners: Initiate conversations by knocking on doors, introducing the benefits of solar energy, and explaining how Lonestar Solar Services can fulfill their energy needs.
- Educate and Inform: Clearly and accurately convey information to potential customers about the benefits of switching to solar power, such as cost savings and environmental advantages.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify prospective leads to ensure they meet the criteria for our solar solutions.
- Appointment Scheduling: Secure appointments for our sales team to conduct comprehensive consultations with interested homeowners.
- Reporting: Document and report on daily activities, including the number of doors knocked, leads gathered, and appointments scheduled.
- Support Sales Team: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads and contribute to closing deals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to engage homeowners effectively.
- Motivation and Energy: High level of enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the drive to meet new people and overcome obstacles.
- Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle rejection with resilience.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or canvassing is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation:
This is a commission-based role with significant earning potential tied directly to performance. Compensation is determined by the number of appointments booked and leads that convert into sales. There is no base salary, hourly pay, or benefits provided for this position.
Work Environment and Schedule:
