We ran into a lot of busy numbers when calling solar companies around our area. So we requested a quote and LoneStar Solar Services LLC got back to us with a quote that was lower than the average cost in California. Their all-inclusive package was $2.75/watt making it easy to compare to other installers. We ended up getting a 9.5kW system and a Tesla Powerwall. Despite the pandemic, we were able to get inspected and the system was just activated! The timing couldn't be better since I'll be starting at WFH.

Skip the national, disorganised solar chains and go with these guys - great team, all local. Priced competitively, no BS haggling and most importantly no vastly overinflated production estimates on undersized systems. Their quote process is great and very thorough, and we got lucky with my install and had the panels on my roof within a month of signing the contract. PTO took a few more weeks, but worth the wait - the system is running great. Incredibly professional, kind team who are all wonderful to work with.

Just wanted to say that I was very happy with the service I received from Lone Star Solar. I was super impressed by the professionalism from Andrew the installer that came out! Everything was explained to me and I felt very comfortable working with this company I would definitely refer them.

I purchased a 5.8kW system in 2020 and the experience with their team was MONUMENTAL! They handled all steps of the process and required me to only sign documents after careful review and provide them with a date for installation. I was kept in the loop the entire process and they even coordinated with my foam insulation crew to best coordinate both activities during the same week. Once the installation was finished, Dustin (my Creative Solar genius) explained the details of the system with all educational materials in hand. I instantly began saving money the first day since I produced more power than I used.

Our home’s roof was over 15 years old and we were trying to get a reroof. It was tough because we didnt have the cash. Lone Star offered us a brand new roof for 0$ down & only $25.00 a month!!!! Thank you guys so much

I began researching solar in 2021 and looked at a number of companies, both large and smaller. I got five bids in early 2022 and compared them based on several criteria, including cost, quality of equipment, whether they had in-house installation crews, number of installations and, finally, online reviews. Most of the quotes came within a couple of thousand dollars of each other. One of the largest companies had a competitive quote, but the reviews on several sites suggested customers were clamoring for service and many had been waiting for some time for a response. I ultimately selected LoneStar Solar Services LLC because their quote was competitive (although not the lowest), they used quality equipment, had many installations and they had an in-house crew. The company has been around for about a decade, starting out as a solar installation and repair outfit. I dealt primarily with Bobby Singh, who was responsive to all my questions. From the time I signed the contract to installation was less than eight weeks. The site pre-installation inspection was a couple days after I signed the contract and was done with a drone. The city inspection was the day after installation and we passed it. Unfortunately the inspector didn't notify the utility as he was supposed to, and that delayed being interconnected to my utility for another week. During installation the techs broke six tiles. They told me about it and the next day LoneStar Solar Services LLC's roofing folks came and replaced them. Pretty impressive. Bottom line is I was impressed with LoneStar Solar Services LLC's follow through, quality of installation and responsiveness. There were a couple of minor issues with the interconnection application, such as missing information, but they were corrected. I sped up the process by personally walking the plans to my HOA, which shaved a few days from the process. So far my system is producing energy and working well. While I have not closely inspected the installation on the roof, it appears well done, so hopefully there won't be any leak issues. Overall LoneStar Solar Services LLC did a great job and I recommend them.

We've had our LoneStar Solar Services LLC panels for a little over two years and I'm very happy to report they work as promised. Panels purchased are perfect for heating and cooling our house to our preferences and end of year true up costs are almost zero. The installation was quick and absolutely no leaks or any roofing problems post installation. Our salesman, Ivan, was the best at assessing our needs and not overselling or pushing in any way. Lone Star send out a technician same day we signed to get measurments and begin the process. We were installed in less than 20 days & our system was turned on 2 weeks after install.
