I initially chose LoneStar Solar Service based on their reviews, a friend's recommendation, and Riley. I highly recommend LoneStar Solar Service for solar installation. Everyone on the team, including Mike, Riley, Adam, and Team 1, impressed me. Each step of the process was completed quickly. On the day of installation, the install team (Team 1) communicated well and the installation looked great. The inspection went off without a hitch on the first try. LoneStar Solar Service was also very responsive, making any minor changes quickly and without causing any delays to the project.

So...I've now reviewed LoneStar several times. I'm changing my star rating to FIVE because they provide 5-star service. This company and its owner were so concerned with doing the right thing that they tracked me down to find out what problems I was having. Wasn't expecting to write a review but had a good experience getting solar. Much better than anticipated.

After getting several solar bids I was most impressed with LoneStar Solar Services LLC. They were the most ""non sales"" types. They were the most competitive in price and quality. If you compare apples to apples and make a very detailed spreadsheet like I did along with my next door neighbor we determined LoneStar Solar Services LLC to be hands down the best in terms of quality, performance, warranty and price. We have had it for over a year now and paid 0 for electricity. We didn't over pay for more panels than we needed either. Some solar companies wanted us to have 100-120% of the current electricity offsetting our electric bill but I went with 75% and I am making more electricity than we need. Don't be fooled by all the others out there. There was no charge for the roof inspection, design and HOA approval. It all went very smoothly, quickly and effortlessly.

I needed to have my panels removed so that I could replace my roof. They were very quick to respond, and very reasonable for the work that needed to get done. They not only took care of the removal and reinstallation, but troubleshoot an issue that I've had, and fixed it as part of their service.I can't say enough about the quality, dedication and professionalism of LoneStar Solar Services LLC. They made me feel like they were working on their own house.They even worked with the roofer to make sure things went smoothly (and the roofer will call them in the future).

Monthly electric bills are less than $25. We discovered that if you continue to make your monthly auto payment, your solar bill will be paid on a monthly basis as well. It will not skip monthly payments and then ""true up"" at the end of a year, as is customary. But we don't mind paying a small monthly fee. So, yes. We wholeheartedly endorse LoneStar Solar Service. Simply be aware of all Texas laws at the time of your consideration. Things can change from one year to the next.

2 months agoThis company is the real Mccoy! They go above and beyond. They truly take time in informing their customers. All my questions were answered by Andrew. If you are in need of solar panel company to add solar panels to your home, Lonestar is tier one in my opinion.

I had the pleasure of dealing with LoneStar Solar Service when I made 1 of my smart decisions to have Solar panels installed on my house. I was sick & tired of paying around $300 to $400 per month for my electric usage. I called several Solar companies for estimates. Eric from LoneStar Solar Service came twice and explained to us the process patiently. He was very professional and accommodating to all our questions concerning the solar panels and installation. Their estimate was the best price and very reasonable relative to the Premium quality panels compared to others. We are very happy and satisfied with their professional installation of our 24 solar panels plus the upgrade of our electrical panel. They even took care of the monitoring app for us. Thus, I referred them to my relatives and friends without hesitation who also hired them for their solar panel installation. Now I am only paying the base rate (connection fee) for my electric usage per month. Thank you Eric and thank you LoneStar Solar Service.

I've researched and had three quotes before I decided to proceed with LoneStar Solar Services LLC. So happy I did. My experience has been worth it. Bobby in sales never pushed and matched what I wanted and didn't over sell me. To Joel and the team that installed my solar panels and most importantly Terry who with injuries still came and completed the remaining work pending. It was extremely easy to get the solar installed. Eric was very helpful and was attentive to details. Everything that was discussed regarding solar was executed diligently and efficiently.

The team at Lone star solar worked well with us to have our 14x18 cedar wood pergola installed. They assembled it in the morning and adjusted it to fit around a concrete slab we had previously built. They were very responsive and even had it ready sooner than they promised. With all the supply issues going on in construction, this was a pleasant surprise. All in all, a very nice product for a reasonable price with great service.

In 2021, a solar system was installed. One of the panels recently began to generate 50% of its capacity. LoneStar Solar Service, the original installer, was contacted and evaluation and replacement were requested. Unfortunately, the panel was from Solar World. Solar World closed its doors in 2022/2023. Freddy Gonzalez, a LoneStar Solar Service employee, took on the problem and attempted to pursue warranty. When he didn't get a response, he dispatched a technician with a Jinko replacement panel. His efforts to honor the Solar World ""warranty"" were admirable. I'm back to producing what the system promised and couldn't be more pleased. Their initial installation is also noteworthy. All conduit was installed in the garage and attic of the roof. The street appearance was very clean, and the workmanship was excellent.I cannot recommend LoneStar Solar Service highly enough. You'll be glad you worked with them.
